[Avid-L2] Re: OT: AMC theater's new scam

 

Yes, but that's part of the 3D scam that you sign up for when you go to one of those films. This is just for regular movie watching.

It's basically them saying "We've been providing a poor theater viewing experience for all these years, and now we are going to provide proper one and you have to pay 4 bucks more to use it."

It would be like an editor saying, "try my new IEE (Improved Editing Experience) which provides actual caring about the project, true concern over where to place an edit, and even knowledge of the editing system interface! All this for a mere 1/3rd more on the pay rate.
