Oliver had mentioned that in the previous thread but being the devil may car kinda guy on my last update I clicked them all and it seems to have worked so far. I should say all I did was make sure that edl manager launched but haven't used it for any real work so perhaps more will be revealed down the line. Prior to these threads I'd always added the helper app after installing MCsoft and it worked then. I'm on a mac so there may be a difference in the PC experience that I'm not aware of.
