Subject: [Avid-L2] Re: OT: How many Ding Dongs does it take for a credit roll?
One of my corporate clients does about three or four, one for each SBU, "employee recognition" videos annually.
Within each video it's broken out by region and each one generally has no less than 100 names. So that's roughly 400-500 per program x3 or 4 programs each year.
We get a list and I copy/paste the names into a roll, then after the video is cut, the producer and I sit down with the client and we go line by line making sure spelling, dept, title is all correct, we remove some that are not attending (or who have since left the company before being recognized).
It is maddening to say the least.
