How are the drives formatted?
I've seen some weird behaviors with drives that are FAT32 mounted with
Snow Leopard.
Once the drives were reformatted for Mac all was good again.
Try copying a couple of the video files to a Mac formatted drive's MXF
folder and see if they link. I guess, just try with the internal HD
and see.
