I don't think the limit changed. Was it 24? I never hit the limit. Stereo tracks count as two mono tracks when counting for monitoring, meaning you can monitor 24 mono tracks, or 12 stereo tracks, or however you mix them.

My question regarding the new audio stuff is: how many tracks can be monitored at once. I'm sure this is somewhere in the release notes but I haven't seen it yet. I recently "cleaned up" an older sequence to do revisions, moving music & drones to stereo tracks which took me from 18 tracks to 15 (2 stereo). I thought this would enable me to monitor all tracks but I still can't. Anyone know what the limit / mono vs. stereo is?
