Never bothered looking if I was only formatting one disk.

Subject: [Avid-L2] OT: Mac Drive Format Optimization
So HFS+ uses a 4K block. No options. Why not?
Can anyone tell me why I can't find anything at all about using a
larger block size to optimize for video? Or alternately why this is
just dumb question?
Sometimes inquiring minds just want to know, and I'm baffled that I
can't find anything that even addresses the idea in any meaningful way.
Cheers,
tod
