[Avid-L2] Re: ScriptSync & v5

As a small facility owner, who is struggling NOT to switch from Avid to
FCP -

I can tell you that this is completely out of the question. Avid needs
to provide more for the price. When I compare Avid to FCP, I need to
see more capabilities for the money - not less. Right now it's a not
much of a decision. Avid cost double what FCP does, but doesn't do any
more, it's mostly a matter of preference as to which one you get.
Script Sync would make the higher price of Avid worth it - but a $1000
plug in? Forget it.
