[Avid-L2] Re: Resource Fork displaying in Project window on MC5 now BlueHarvest

I went ahead and got the BlueHarvest and it did indeed remove .ds store files off a PC drive on my MBP 10.6.3 with the latest Paragon installed. Very cool. The things I do for the PC world. Of course I'd have to put this in the "Enlightened Self Interest" category. You can put the boy on a Mac but you can't get all the PC out of him.

These files will be made unusable if their ._ AppleDouble file is deleted. Always make sure you use BlueHarvest with files which don't rely on data in their ._ AppleDouble files.

I remember it took me a long time to get this right but it was do to the fact that just taking the mac font over to my pc didn't work until I stuffed it first. My understanding at the time was the stuffing combined the data and resource fork. From what I read on the BlueHarvest FAQs it sound like it was the ._AppleDouble file that was being lost. Does this seem right. Fonts are just a continual mystery and pain in my tush. And don't get me started on why some font families show up in title tool and other versions don't.
