[Avid-L2] Re: OT: Mac OS10.6.3 Heat

What size MBP? My 17 inch hasn't demonstrated your problem, yet. I usually set it on a ridged cooling stand that has little fans but I've never bothered to power up the fans. Can't say I've worked the unit real hard since the upgrade a week or so ago. I did transcode a couple hour long offline shows without issue and I've done a bunch of Carbon Copy Cloning for several hours at a time without a burp.
