[Avid-L2] Re: OT: How many Ding Dongs does it take for a credit roll?

I would but random requests for other things keep coming in too. Today's request for an animation codec uncompressed qt of a 43 minute HD show to be uploaded to an FTP comes to mind. Even at DV rez it would take a day for the upload can't imagine how long an HD uncompressed animation would take. Of course we were told they do it all the time. Huh? Fed Ex seemed to make more sense but what do I know. We did settle for an H.264 to get them something. Sure would like to hear if anyone is in the habit of uploading a 43 minute HD 1080I 59.94 show exported to uncompressed animation codec qt to an ftp. Really seems like a no brainer that Fed Ex is faster or Renting some fibre time or even Digidelivery of some sort.
