[Avid-L2] Re: FR Default Monitor Track for Digital Cut

No not at all see my early posts. The problem is when outputting and you go to fix something and the Avid changes the monitor track during the fix without you knowing it. Step into a nest and all of a sudden the monitor is switched to V2 or V3 etc... You go back to outputting without noticing it changed and you have to go back or get burned. I always try to check but sometimes in the heat of the battle it would be nice to have a little back up from the software. Since it would be an option maybe in the digital cut tool it wouldn't effect any aspect of the timeline structure or sequence metadata so it seems like an easy FR to me.

A quick bounce to the upper track or a match to it and a gang drag along will confirm what's going on. It's just faster that way.
