[Avid-L2] OT: directors reels

Hey all,
Question:

A friend is asking me to put together a reel of his short films (3
total). At first, he wanted to just grab short bits from each film but
then had second thoughts.

What's the typical presentation on these types of things? Should we
just put the entire films on the reel or should I grab key sections
and lay them out? I haven't done any short film reels so I'm not
really sure what's appropriate and what's not.
