old Coy, fully grown to the size of a trout, laying half-eaten on the
garden path.
Surprisingly, mass-murderer BP is not suspect in this particular
case. The suspects are assumed masked and mischievous, with opposable
thumbs but no known gang affiliations. The surviving Coy aren't
talking, and both of the top-floating pot-belly gold fish are also
conspicuously absent- either victims themselves, or perhaps in hiding.
I have crime scene photos, but thought better than to post them, given
that some folks are still having breakfast.
If you're out tonight, raise a glass in memory of... that fat fish to
whom we never gave a nick-name, because he was so mean to the other
fish. (Or, you know, make up a name for him posthumously.)
