[Avid-L2] MC5 and FileVault Mac - Joy? No Joy?

So, yeah - standalone MC4 is incompatible with the Mac OS X FileVault
(as is/was MC3 as is/was ProTools etc. etc. etc).

1. Any reason to believe MC5 remedies this situation?
2. Any known workarounds aside from:
3. No, disabling FV and/or running MC under different account is
really not an option in the environment in question.
