[Avid-L2] Can Sony EX1 (XDcam) 35 mbs and 50 mbs play in the same sequence

Hello all,

A quick question. The Assistant Camera just called from the set asking whether they can set our
Sony EX-1 to 50 mb/second rate. To date, all footage for all shows have been done at 35 mb/s.

We are running MC 4.0.(3)? on a MAC with 9gb
RAM and a decent graphics
card (don't know the model
as I'm off site).

Does
anyone know if there will be a conflict between this new 50 mb/s rate
and all our older 35 mb/s footage.
