Try making the audio a PCM (.wav) or Dolby Digital (.ac3) file -- MPEG
Layer 2 audio is *not* fully supported in the NTSC DVD-Video spec
(players aren't required to handle it), and a NTSC DVD-V disc is
supposed to have at least one PCM or AC3 track *somewhere* on the disc
(a dummy title or PCG will suffice). I believe PAL players do allow
MPEG L2 audio, but it's been a while since I dealt with.
