or go with the blackmagic extreme 3 card for 999. (about 2k less) and you get sdi and hdmi out of the card with no additional convertors. 3d in, and 3d out if need be. It's also approved for use with MaD' vinci (Davinci on Mac), FCP, NUKE, AE, COLOR. but not Smack. Approved for dual stream output to SRW5800 as well, in 2k 4:4:4.
