should keep an eye out,
I recall seeing lots of JVC and SAMSUNG 3D monitors on the floor. A
couple MIRACUBES. Did anyone notice what was being used at the MC5 3D
demo pod?
I have not run 3D through my Avid yet, but my understanding is that the
fullscreen mode, or the DX hardware's HDSDI/HDMI outputs can be
configured to monitor the LEFT/RIGHT images in any pattern you prefer.
The editor would normally work with Avid's traditional 2D UI and slip on
the glasses when they need to view in stereo.
Whatever 3D monitoring solutions you decide upon, it should closely
match your intended venue. Make sure the gear features HDMI V1.4 and
is currently shipping.
Lessee,.. other gotchas?
Metafuze will convert filebased 3D sources to Stereoscopic DNxHD,
usually halving the HD resolution while preserving metadata.
Metafuze is a free PC app. Not for the Mac last I checked.

I believe MOJO DX will handle live 3D capture and processing but it only
has a single-link HDSDI input. Nitris has dual.
And this should be a handy tool to have around at some point:

Almost forgot - don't neglect to buy more storage. Lots more. Give
Dave Spraker a call.
