My absolute favorite title tool is After Effects: Titles are just objects in the timeline, edit them directly in the viewer, add any animation parameter, randomize any parameter, per character, word or line, add several objects and change them together, use a script or expression to generate them, use a txt file to generate them. They interact with all your other objects; just add camera and lights.

The graphics tool in DS is maybe my second favorite, great painting and masking features, effect modes, animation tracks.

"Marquee" is called the 3D DVE in DS, and I refuse to use both. Their sparse R&D resources should be used on the desperately needed things. Not on trying to revive a not very aristocratic corpse of a marquis.
