Subject: Re: [Avid-L2] Big Symphony Announcement
Having not attended NAB (yea!) I've been meaning to ask:
With all this talk of RED and 444 in Symphony, has there been any mention of
features needed to work with that stuff? Things like DPX I/O (for effects),
16/32bit color depth, Real-time LUT's on import/export/clip/timeline basis,
LIN/LOG conversion etc...Having done lots of both RED and 444, those are
features that simply must be there. Just curious if they included plans for
that.
Also, any word on how they're gonna support shared storage with uncompressed
444? Will it be some compressed 444 DNX thing?
Thanks,
-G
Will the e-mail-me-when-you're-done-rendering feature work on iPhone and
Blackberry, and can I change the color of the text in the notification? :)
