[Avid-L2] Re: Title Tool Will Not Save - MC 3.1.3 on Win XP

I have the same problem -- and I'm on MC4.05.
My current workaround is to use "Save As" instead of "Save".
Or, sometimes I have been forced to promote the title to Marquis.

I'm not sure what the exact problem is...
But, I'm going to tough-it-out until a fresh W7/MC5.0 install in June.
And then hope for the best.

Not to sound ungrateful for the newly announced 5.0 features -- because I am really happy for Avid....

But what software company doesn't update and overhaul a repeatedly used module (like the Title Tool) for almost twenty years? (Marquis aside).

While I'm at it -- I guess I could also complain about the DVE -- which has largely remained unchanged for around 13 years.

Or Color Correction, which is also in desperate need of an overhaul to remain relevant and competitive. Hopefully that will happen soon after the Euphonix integration.

Oh well, some people are just never satisfied.
