[Avid-L2] Pricing question

I'd like to know if updating from 3.5 to 4.0/5.0 is the same whether it's for MC Soft or Nitris DX. I'm a freelance and the next film I'm cutting won't be with my equipment, but with a Nitris DX that belongs to one of the coproducers. I was told it's on version 3.5 at the moment. I'm meeting them on monday to discuss the organisation of the project and would like to suggest updating their machine to 4.0.x before I start in a couple of weeks. So I'd like to know how much it should cost them (ballpark figure is enough) in order to persuade them to spend that money.
I own two licences of MC, but it's only the software version which I use with a Mojo SDi or on a laptop with a second monitor. I know the upgrade price for those, is it the same for a machine with a Nitris DX attached?
