RE: [Avid-L2] TV Spot distribution question

I know that WE prefer center-cut, hopefully the spot was shot center-cut
safe.

Subject: [Avid-L2] TV Spot distribution question

I'm going to be editing a spot for "regional" delivery. Source is HD 24p.
I'll be adding pulldown for final delivery to stations/cable operations.

I know it ultimately depends on the distributor/broadcaster - but are post
houses delivering Anamorphic, Edge-Crop, Letterboxed, or a single master
with all three types? For all I know, this may be going to FastChannel.

Producer and director really want to keep the 16x9 look of the spot - are
cable ops accepting 16x9 anamorphic SD?

I'm hoping that the agency handling the "media buy" and distribution will
shine some light on this...

What are my fellow "list-ers" doing for SD spot delivery from HD source?

TIA.
