If the problem is a software version issue you try and OMF exprt/import

>> Here's an odd one:
>>
>> 24 fps film sequences are being cut in an Adrenaline workgroup with
>> local storage. LAN folders are used to park the editors MCA 4.0.5 PC
>> sequences and pass them to the assistant editor (MCA 2.7 PC) for fluffing.
>>
>> The assistant duplicates them before starting audio revisions. This
>> works well with several sequences but the assistant station runs into
>> ONE that can not be duplicated.
>>
>> The assistant's AVID rolfs up:
>> FatalExcpt Exception: std::exception,
>> what:IsKeyable()\coresw\ame\compman\AParamItem.c205
>>
>> There are no "locks" on the sequence and they can edit it the original.
>> But they can not "duplicate" it, even when it's placed in an empty bin
>> by itself.
>>
>> Anyone experienced this before?
