elementary. I'm working on a short spot output to dvd. normally i just go to a
crash dvd recorder for approval. they were all in use and i had time to
experiment. what i would like is to output a dvd (like a studio film) that will
automatically play back in a standard def dvd player on a 4 x 3 tv in
letterbox form, and on a 16 x 9 screen, full, widescreen playback, depending how
the dvd player is set up. what I'm getting on standard def, is a double
letterboxxed image. the dvd player is set to tv image: 4x3, letterbox. i've
told dvd it that the image coming in is 16x9. also, it's going out by right
clicking on sequence, hitting send to dvd (authoring) and make a qt reference
file out of it. it's sonic 6.0, running on avid 4.0.5. i'm sure i'm
missing something obvious. thanks
