[Avid-L2] Re: Steps to re-link?

The assistant may not be up to speed but obviously he didn't look at the avid screen while capturing or he would have seen what was patched, routed or just cabled into the Avid input. It means he never bothered to look at any of the clips he was batch capturing, a basic part of the process in my book. If you don't bother to check the first capture to see that it's okay you've got no business sitting in the chair. There are a lot of people willing to do the job but they don't have the basic skill set to check their work so you get what you pay or don't pay for. Perhaps there is a growing need for my assistant editor bitch slapper device I requested a few weeks back. ;-)
