[Avid-L2] [job] Assistant Editor, Hollywood

Knowledgeable and flexible Assistant Editor wanted on as-needed basis. Candidate must have several years of professional industry experience. Working knowledge of professional videotape standards and frame rates (HD & SD), waveform monitors, vector scopes, all format VTR's, HD cross-conversion and aspect ratio conversions, Video compression and Video compression for web/email uploads. Must be able to take detailed direction and work without supervision.

Candidate must be familiar with:
Deck set-up and maintenance.
Unity media management.
troubleshooting tech issues with systems.
AAF/OMF audio formats.
digitizing
HDCAM.
HDCAM_SR.
Digibeta.
Importing of Graphics
Exporting Quicktime in a variety of different codecs.
Grouping of multi-cam shows.
Offline & Online editing
Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, & DVD Authoring experience is a plus.
