[Avid-L2] Is there an elegant way to locate a pan and zoom still?

So I know I'm supposed to put a still slug under a pan and zoom to facilitate tracking the source still.  What can I do if someone doesn't put in a slug under the pan and zoom and it is still online but I want to find the source still?  I've posted about this before and the only way I can find the still linked to the pan and zoom is to subsequence the section and move it to my laptop with no access to media.  Then when I click the set source box in the effect window it asks for the still by name.  Is there or why isn't there a way to make pan and zoom tell you the name of the still you're linked to without taking the media offline.  Clearly the effect knows the name in metadata but how can the user access that when everything is properly online and linked.  Anybody got a better solution than take my laptop, PLEASE?
