Client shoots 1080p 29.97 on ex3. Has 1080i material on tape too.
Wants 1080i edit and sd 60i broadcast master.

Advice on worflow? Project type? Mixing formats?

Think the file based thing could be an issue. Is there a bunch of
transcoding in my future?

How would one tackle the same task acquiring 23.97 p via ex3.

Think I get crossed up there with how pulldown is added in file based
workflow?

Past formats either did this in camera or in deck.

Not possible to record 24 frames to an sxs card with the camera adding
pulldown to really record at 29.97i. Like the older panasonic sdx900
did?

Hmmm.

Sorry for the rudimentary question but since I hate file based
workflow I have steered clear of progessive material captured as
such...Until now.

Version 3.5 soon to be 4.0 composers.
