Subject: [Avid-L2] OT: USB 3.0 in MBPs?

Pondering the imminent purchase of a new MBP but concerned that USB 3.0 is around the corner.

Does anyone have any scuttlebutt regarding when the new bus will appear in MBPs? Do I even have the essential technology concept correct in asking when USB 3.0 will be standard (or even optional) in MBPs?
