Interplay should be able to do so, not?

(well, not sure about the complete XDcam structure, but from my fast
glancing at the options, XDcam MXF files look supported...)

I'm not sure After Effects can write back, but if you render out of AE,
use
AMA for Avid to discover the file and then use Avid to do the write
back...it might work.

Hmm . . . I can see 22 XDCAM codecs here when setting up an export
from QT Pro, so they'd show up in AE, too. Not sure whether 'Export to
XDCAM Disk' will show up as an option, though.
