Everytime I chose Export and selected AAF, it would stop midway through
with an error message "Exception Get Domain Type unrecognized audio format.
This happened with the three acts I was trying to finish.
So I decided to try OMF 2.0 instead. This would export all the way through and
then at the end would say something like "There is an unknown track use AAF".
Next I tried consolidating first, which worked perfectly but trying Export AAF or OMF gave
the same results. So next I decided to find the offending clip. I split it into seperate tracks,
all with the same result. I started removing clips from the track till I was down to one clip
with the same result.
So after 3 or 4 hours, I decided to try something different. I did a "send to Digidesign ProTools"
under the file menu. I checked the options and they were exactly the same as when I used "Export" AAF.
So I tried the AAF again and it sailed through all three acts perfectly. WTF!
I can't figure out why they are different but I thought I'd post this in case anyone
else has this problem
.
I'm working on Newscutter 7.1.
