[Avid-L2] Avid Pan and Zoom 1 frame issue on Mac SNDX 3.5.4?

Trying to remake some stills using pan and zoom.  It seems if the effect is only 1 frame I can't see the target picture, image is visable in source mode.  If I make it 2 frames it behaves like normal then I can lift the 2nd frame and see the 1 frame image.  Strange.  I haven't tried a different still but curious if anybody else has seen this.  I know who really needs a 1 frame still?  But trying to be true to the offline.
