the steam generator every 20 minutes... And I walked uphill through
the snow to the edit suite BOTH ways!
Seriously, I don't think that the media is taking up more than a frame
of space. The way the Title Tool works is insane as far as media is
concerned. If you cut a Title in on the first frame and trim it back
there's no media, but the media is only one frame anyway...
I just created a title and the file size is about half a Meg, even
though the media says it's two minutes long. Half a meg sounds about
right for a DV res single frame though.
That said, I do believe there was a console command to limit the
length of each Title to a specific length, but I just looked for it
and it seems to have been deleted from the list. There was also one
for setting the import length of imported graphics. That can now be
set in the import dialog box.
I did find two brutal console commands for those that want to play
practical jokes on other editors while I was looking.
MeridienColorFX - rotates the hue on all color effects in a
sequence.
SetDoNotRetFromPlay -- If (1) then play will NEVER allow the UI to
update.
And then I found this console command that I just thought was funny.
SetMonitorExceptionVerbosity
