This would probably work if the machine was stand alone and we had one
login that everyone used, but for security purposes, we have to have
users login to the computer on our network and authenticate their
credentials.

Creating local user accounts on all machines for students to be able to
use any of the three could become an administrative nightmare,
especially if we grow this to a full lab of 16 Avids.

It's something to consider, though, if we had to move this way (without
a Unity system unless we get a big grant). Thanks.
