Hi Ken,

Do you mean the HDX900? I don't think there is a HVX900.
If so, the HDX900 is a 720p camera, but it does a pretty good job of
upscaling to 1080 internally. Most people seem to be quite happy with
the resuls they get that way, so it might be quicker and easier to just
record at 1080. The difference between the 1080p and 1080pA settings is
the pulldown pattern (the signal is recorded as 29.97psf on tape).
1080pA is advanced pulldown (2:3:3:2), but if you are going to edit at
23.98 then this shouldn't make any difference as the VTR will be
removing the extra frames when it plays back. With that in mind, I
think I would sugest shooting at 1080p23.98.
