Does this deal come with the computer hardware to run the distributed processes? If so, I could see some facilities biting on it.
Otherwise, honestly, all this is throwing more weight into Resolve's hands. Resolve Studio licenses are cheap enough and this distributed power comes free with.

I had been very excited about this tool when initially announced. But after seeing the details and now the pricing, it feels like a throw back to the days before the open IO revolution.
We do not use Nexis. We use third party storage that emulates Avid. So I can not even consider this product. But, I can do a whole lot of what is offered by this tool for 0 extra dollars with what I do have with just a little ingenuity.
