It is true you could have 4 Avid workstations sitting waiting and just pass a bin to them to access shared storage and render while the editor carries on.
But if it works as suggested then the saved editor time still mounts up. 
Much like Cinextools (at a much lower price point of course) you can just remake output files but everyone I know who has licensed the tool wouldn't go back to the manual slow way.

I've yet to see just how effective this distributed processing will be and I only hope it works better than the remote render station we had on our DS worked!
