I had been running an older Black Magic SDSDI card with success for both Avid and Resolve. I still used my NitrisDX for tape outputs as I could never get rid of the 1 frame offset and a black frame at the head of every digital cut I attempted with the BM card. I'm told that issue has been rectified but am still waiting to see if Mr. Bogdan's editor's can confirm that the DNxIO can do a frame accurate video insert edit to tape with no frame of black and one frame offset from the timeline. I will probably keep my NitrisDX handy for universal mastering anyways but soon plan to install my DNxIO for all the 4K work I might get.

I do have Premiere but I never use it because my system is set up with a Mojo DX and so I can't monitor anything with any other apps. I would ideally like to be able to feed the Flanders, the Sony M4U and my Samsung LCD and mixer when I open Premiere and Ideally AE but can live with AE just on the Mac displays. I use a 2009 Mac Pro tower and as I said, a MOJO DX.
