I will give this a try on the next version of this show. I have adopted a QT ref to maintain multichannel audio stems. In my experience I always get prompted that I can't be in direct audio mode for QT export. I've asked before if there was a way to maintain multichannel stems that aren't part of a stereo or 5.1 track without exporting a QT ref and the answer has been no.
I'm attaching the error I get when I try to export my video mixdown sequence in audio direct. I'm on SNDX 5.5.5. Do later versions handle these multichannel audio stems?
