Possibly your personal gravity is just better aligned with the
re-arraigned magnetic regions, so the pull of the material against your
person creates the impression of additional weight.
Maybe the tapes were vacuum-packed or in lighter-than-air gas? Maybe
the heads on your deck are filthy, and some of it stuck to the tape.
Ink on the labels?
Also, perhaps, what phase was the moon when you started the outputs?
Maybe they actually ARE heavier, given the vagaries of planetary pull.
Honestly, I think your question may be for the deGrasse-Tyson-L2, more
so then, perhaps, this group.

> After outputting 4 tapes today of various show master deliverables the tapes feel heavier than when I put them in the tape deck. Could it be the weight of all the "Art" we put into the oxide? Or did I just get weaker after watching the same show in multiple configurations over and over? I'm going with the weight of "Art". I think a minute of bars and tone probably weighs at least a pound or should it be metric? Oh well time for some artistic blurring at least a couple pounds worth. ;-)
