But the easy answer is...AMA is simply unreliable from FCP - your best bet
is to transcode everything and use AAF with automatic duck from FCP to AVID
-- the formula is in the linked picture at this link below -- worked every
time for us...and Autoduck is now free. Only issue - picture in picture
effects and other transitions don't carry over well
