[Avid-L2] Re: OT: Post Editor's Lounge Invite/Challenge

I can certainly attest to the claim "every Avid editor seems
to know him." I've never met him, but Bob Russo has saved
my bacon many times. I didn't realize he was still with Avid
(probably just stopped replying to my email screams for help),
so I was, and am, sorry I was out of town and had to miss the
event. I should have liked to introduce myself and thank him
in person for all the help he provided in the past.

Either the software's gotten better, or I've actually learned
a lot more about it, (or figured out how to work within my
limitations), but I haven't needed to scream for help in
quite a while. Evenso, absent being there in person, I
raise a toast to him now, under whatever name he cares to
go by and answer to: thanks Bob, and cheers! - paul
