Has anyone else experienced a problem playing back audio with other applications while MC is open? I just installed OSX 10.8.2 on my 27"iMac, and had just upgraded to MC 6.0.3 before that. After exporting a sequence from the avid full res, I opened MPEG Streamclip to compress an mp4, and when I played back the new clip there was no audio. I finally figured out that the new file was fine; I just could not hear the audio while the Avid was open. This is true for all apps such as QT, YouTube, etc. The Avid grabs the sound, and won't yield it to anything else. I can start a clip playing on Streamclip, for example, click on the avid, and then I hear the sound. Rather confounding. The only solution at the moment is to close the avid and reopen it after listening to other programs.. Any suggestions? Thanks, Steve
