24FPS gets my vote. But bear in mind the most likely way of converting the
24FPS final progs to 25 will be to speed up and this has an effect on
duration.

My reason for suggesting 23.976 was because I didn't know where post would
take place. If the post is going to be done in the US in a standard post
house environment, then 23.976 is going to be more compatible. If it's to be
done in a PAL-centric post house or a pure film finishing environment, then
yes, true 24 may be the better way to go. Regardless, make very sure that
everyone knows what the frame rate is SUPPOSED to be and stays consistent
with that spec!
