[Avid-L2] Importing AVCHD

 

What is the deal with importing AVCHD vs AVCHD NXCam? I have a client who has a Sony NEX VG20 which is AVCHD and a NEX FS100 which is AVCHD NXCam. They are bringing files in to test this week but I'm wondering what to expect. I'm on Symphony 5.5.3 on Z800 Windows 7. Will either of these AMA? Does v6 make a difference?
