Problem is that you have to be a gear head to run anything on Linux. I
don't want to know what goes on inside the box. I just want to turn it
on and have it work, and right now there are few out-of-the-box products
for Linux other than Open Office, and various web server applications.
Now I say all that tongue firmly in cheek. I work on a MB, and edit on
an Imac - but I have to say the main reason I got them was because my
agency clients kept snearing "How can you edit on a PC??? Everyone
creative uses a Mac." Made me want to smack them upside the head.
The mac is nice. Nicer than a comparably priced PC? Well.... maybe.....
