Really snappy waveforms would solve it for me, but it made me think -- how cool would it be to get a warning, upon import, that "audio tracks X thru Y appear to be blank"? Instead of importing pristine 48k audio of blank tracks and using up precious drive space, how cool would a warning and option to omit upon import be?
