[Avid-L2] Re: v4.0.5 Universal Q SOLVED!

Classic Nitris. That could be the issue. Although now we figured it out, we are switching this out for a Nitris DX next week anyway.

Curious how does the time code count when you use a 24Frame deck template but the deck is 59.94 with 30F code? What happens when the time code is say 25 frames which doesn't exist in 24F code. In the past I believe I've seen Avid output based on the 24F code but the output was off. That was a case of incorrect time code sense which isn't what you were dealing with. Usually when using the universal mastering Avid wants to be feed sync matching the output your recording so I'm surprised a 24F deck template doesn't give rise to the error. There are cross convert settings in the video output tool and there are more in the digital cut tool. Is your digital cut tool set to 59.94?

If I try to digital cut to this format it gives me an error that says the deck doesn't match the project rate. Am I missing something? I think this should work.
