Re: [Avid-L2] Media creation settings in v5 resetting

I've managed to beat this one (mostly).
Load up the projects workspace and create 2 folders in it.

1 called: Avid MediaFiles
1 called: OMFI MediaFiles


Then hilight both and get info on them (Apple - I)
Turn on the 'lock'

That's it - Avid now doesn't have permission to create new files in those folder.
It doesn't keep the avid from trying to render there sometimes... but it DOES alert the editor that somehow the destination drive switched from what they were expecting.
(The error message that pops up can be a bit obtuse - but after you see it a few times... you know you need to pull up your Media Tool and change it's settings)
